Travelling through Napa Valley, we made a stop at Oakville Grocery. This is the place to be seen and the place to shop in wine country.
It’s one of those places where you go in for a look and you come out with a bag full of delicious things and of course a bottle of wine or two!
The wine selection is fabulous, but what really caught my attention was the exceptional range of prestige Champagne cuvées and international fine wines, sitting alongside some of Napa Valley’s finest bottles.
Add gourmet foods, local specialties, picnic provisions and plenty of wine-country atmosphere, and it’s very easy to see why this historic Oakville landmark remains such a local favourite.
