I look forward to and am thrilled to participate in ENOWAYS – International Enotourism Summit 2026, at the invitation of Euskadi – Basque Country on November 23–26.
As wine tourism continues to evolve into a strategic driver of economic development, destination branding, and cultural preservation, international forums such as ENOWAYS play an increasingly important role in shaping the industry’s future. Bringing together global leaders, policymakers, destination managers, wineries, and tourism professionals, the summit provides a platform for advancing collaboration, innovation, and best practices.
During my visit, I will have the opportunity to explore the historic territories of Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa, and Álava, gaining first-hand insight into how the Basque Country is leveraging its wine heritage, gastronomy, and cultural assets to strengthen its position as one of Europe’s leading wine tourism destinations.
I look forward to engaging with international industry leaders to exchange ideas and explore the strategies shaping the future of sustainable wine tourism, destination competitiveness, and visitor experiences. As the sector continues to evolve, I believe that collaboration, innovation, and the sharing of global best practices are fundamental to building resilient destinations and advancing wine tourism worldwide.
